Believe it or not, for two consecutive years (2015 and 2016), I became a victim of the same sand bunker at the same hole in Sta. Elena golf course during the Smart Infinity Golf Classic.
If you find it just a coincidence, I find it as an empirical evidence that I never learned on how to manage this specific hole.
If it happens again in 2017, I’ll make a camp fire right in the middle of this sand bunker. I will shovel every grain of sand inside the bunker to the fire to make a glass bottle which I will hit my head with…!!!

GP Cox may be right. Turn yourself a bit left or right next time. But what would I know, never played!!

Yup, that might do, john. Target right of the bunker… But there’s a ravine on the right where you can say goodbye to your ball. Hahahaha! Maybe, I’ll just “punt” the ball to be safe next time and just suffer one or two additional strokes. 🙂

I’ll bet [without consciously knowing it], you are fixating on that hazard, which puts the ball there every time. If turning your body, just a tad, doesn’t work — get on the ground and shoot with a pool cue!! Because you’ll know it’s time for the 19th Hole!

Hahaha! It’s really a mental game, gp… The more you think about “evading” an obstacle, the higher the chances that you will get into it. I’ll take your advice and just punt the ball. Hehehe!

Just putt it to to the green and save any aggravation.

Hahaha! I need a putter that can roll the ball for about 150 yards. 🙂
