I’m unsure of what to say about the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) and Gabriela, a group that is defending the women’s rights.
If a criminal is “allegedly manhandled” by the police, CHR calls Poseidon to raise tidal waves and Zeus to throw bolts of lightning. If the criminal is a woman, Gabriela prays to Medusa to turn every policemen (and policewomen for that matter) into stones.
But if it was a police officer who was mistreated… I hear nothing but the silence of the lambs! I’ve been reading the current news and it appears both are very “hush-hush” on a recent event where a police woman has been unceremoniously painted in a rally!
I know why… But I don’t want to make a conclusion!
What else can I say... Some Filipinos really don't care about traffic rules and regulations! They even made the center aisle of our roads a place where they can dry their laundry!
