Typhoon Hanna (international name: Soudelor) has maintained its strength and continues to move towards Batanes, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 5 p.m. severe weather bulletin on Thursday (August 6).
As of 4 p.m., the eye of the typhoon was located at 715 km east of Basco, Batanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 165 kph and gustiness of 200 kph. (Courtesy of CNN Philippines)

NCR is okay, just some short thunderstorms. The northern provinces are those that are now experiencing the wrath of Hanna. We are all wishing them safe.
