The Philippine Moon at Exactly 8PM (05.05.2015) – Manila Time

Sorry for the green flare as there is a lamp post on my left side when I took this shot at our balcony.

I manually set both the aperture and shutter speed, including ISO in trial and error mode to be able to capture both the moon’s face (without over-exposing it) and the clouds (without underexposing it). I used a fully-extended 270mm lens at “infinity” manual focus.

I like taking photos while driving my way to the office and back home in Metro Manila, Philippines. Considering the high volume of traffic along one of the major roads in the Metro called EDSA, full stop on the road is normal, specially during rush hours.
